What you're paying for

  • Easy to adopt (main value)
  • Worth the price

Scheduling links that are considerate to the person booking, who can overlay their own calendar, with team round robin and collective links on the $10 plan.

SavvyCal focuses on the person booking: they can overlay their own calendar on your link, and you can rank preferred times instead of showing every open slot alike. Basic, at $10 per user a month billed yearly, already includes teams, round robin, collective and group links, workflows, CRM integrations, the API and webhooks, so a small team does not need the higher plan to share bookings. Premium adds custom domains, an assistant’s delegated access, branding removal and paid bookings through Stripe.

  • Calendar overlay for inviteesThe introduction article says the recipient can overlay their own calendar on your link to compare times; the security page says SavvyCal does not store copies of calendar events.Evidence: Knowledge base: Introduction to SavvyCal, and security page (2026-10-16)
  • Team links on the entry planBasic includes teams and collective, round robin and group links; round robin can optimize for availability or for evenness.Evidence: Pricing page and knowledge base: Round robin scheduling links (2026-10-16)
  • Ranked and optimized availabilityBoth plans include ranked and optimized availability, time blocking and frequency limits.Evidence: Pricing page plan table (2026-10-16)
  • API, webhooks and export on BasicThe API and webhooks are on both plans, and the Events page exports upcoming, past and cancelled events as CSV.Evidence: Pricing page and knowledge base: Exporting event data (2026-10-16)
Best for
Small teams and individuals who share links with clients, candidates or partners and want booking to feel considerate, and who do not need SSO or audit reports.
Good to know
The pages list no SSO, text reminders, routing forms or HIPAA support, and SavvyCal says it does not hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certifications.

Bottom lineFrom its public pages, SavvyCal is a focused scheduling tool with a considerate booking page and team links on its $10 plan. It lists no SSO, text reminders, routing forms or certifications of its own, which is why it scores lowest here on our indicators. From its public pages, Cal.com gives the most for the money here: a usable free plan, team routing from $12 per user and audits in its own name. SSO and audit logs start on Organizations, text messages run on credits, and a few pages place HIPAA and EU hosting differently. From its public pages, Zoho Bookings is the lowest-cost way here to give a 3-host team round robin and collective booking, with Zoho’s audits and EU hosting behind it. Payments, text messages, routing forms and the audit log sit on Premium, and the plan for SSO is not stated. From its public pages, Calendly is a full-featured scheduler for sales and recruiting teams, with routing, round robin and CRM integrations on Teams and audits in its own name. It costs more per host than the other per-user tools here and offers no HIPAA BAA or EU hosting.

Review

Review from public pages

Written from SavvyCal's public pages (pricing, security or privacy, and docs) as read on Oct 16, 2026. We did not sign up, and no hands-on run is published yet.

What the public pages show

We read SavvyCal's pricing page, the security page, the Terms of Use and the DPA, the Stripe payments, workflows and Calendly buy-out pages, the brand page, and knowledge base articles on organizations, round robin links, webhooks, exporting event data and deleting an account on Oct 16, 2026; we did not sign up or call the API for this review. The pricing page shows yearly prices by default; the monthly prices ($12 and $20) are in its monthly view.

The plan table is short and clear: two plans, with teams, round robin, collective and group links, workflows, integrations, the API and webhooks on both, and custom domains, delegated access, branding removal and paid bookings on Premium. The round robin article explains the two modes: optimize for availability (the next eligible host free at the chosen time) or for evenness (cycling evenly through the pool).

Two points need a question to SavvyCal. The pricing FAQ says you can sign up for free, must upgrade to activate links and can get a refund in the first 30 days, while the Calendly buy-out page describes a 7-day free trial started from the billing page. And Premium shows $17 a month billed yearly next to "two months free" on the $20 monthly price, which would be $200 a year rather than $204; the yearly total is not shown.

Strengths

  • Booking that respects the invitee

Invitees can overlay their own calendar on your link, and you can rank preferred times instead of offering every open slot alike.

  • Team links on Basic

Teams, round robin, collective and group links are on the $10 plan (billed yearly).

vs Calendly: Calendly puts round robin on Teams ($16 per seat billed yearly).

  • API, webhooks and CSV export on the entry plan

Both plans include the API and webhooks, and events export as CSV with invitee details and answers to custom questions.

Compared: Acuity Scheduling keeps its API on Premium ($55 a month billed annually).

  • A 30-day refund window

The Terms of Use give a full refund when you cancel within 30 days of starting a subscription.

vs Calendly: Calendly’s terms say fees are non-refundable.

Things to know

  • No security certifications of its own

The security page (last updated January 16, 2023) says SavvyCal does not hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certifications, while its infrastructure providers do.

Workaround: The page describes limited access to production, encrypted storage of connected-account tokens and no stored calendar events, and the DPA with Standard Contractual Clauses is part of the terms.

  • Payments and branding removal on Premium

Paid bookings through Stripe, removing SavvyCal branding and custom domains need Premium ($17 per user billed yearly).

Workaround: Premium is bought online, without a sales call.

  • No SSO, text reminders, routing forms or HIPAA listed

The plan table and the pages we read list none of these.

Workaround: Workflows send customized reminders and can create or update CRM records, and Zapier connects other tools.

  • US hosting only

The app is hosted primarily in Fly.io’s Virginia region with the database on AWS us-east, and the DPA says processing occurs in the United States.

Pricing reality

SavvyCal bills each user per month, and inviting colleagues to the organization adjusts the seat count automatically. Yearly billing gives two months free. For our scenario, 3 hosts on Basic cost 3 × $10 = $30 a month billed yearly, or 3 × $12 = $36 month to month (computed), before tax. That covers teams, round robin, collective and group links, workflows, CRM integrations, the API and webhooks. Premium costs $17 per user billed yearly or $20 monthly ($51 or $60 a month for 3 users, computed) and is needed for custom domains, branding removal, delegated access and paid bookings through Stripe. Students, educators and non-profits can ask support for 25% off.

Exit path

The Events page exports upcoming, past and cancelled events as a CSV file, including invitee details and answers to custom questions. Cancelling keeps the subscription active to the end of the billing period, then deactivates links but keeps your data unless you delete the account; deleting the account is permanent. The Terms of Use give a full refund for cancellations within 30 days of starting a subscription.

Compared with

    Pick Calendly when
You need routing forms, text reminders, payments on the round-robin plan, or SOC 2 and ISO 27001 reports.
  • Pick SavvyCal when

    Pick Cal.com when
You want a free plan, routing forms, text messages and payments on the team plan, and SOC 2 and ISO 27001 reports.
  • Pick SavvyCal when
You want the API, webhooks, team links and workflows together on the entry plan.
    Pick Zoho Bookings when

Choose it if

  • You send scheduling links to clients or partners and want booking to be easy for them.
  • You want round robin and collective links on the entry plan.
  • You want the API and webhooks without a higher plan.

Look elsewhere if

  • Your security review requires SOC 2 or ISO 27001 reports, SSO or a HIPAA BAA.
  • You need text reminders or routing forms.
  • You want a permanent free plan for booking links.

Bottom line

From its public pages, SavvyCal is a focused scheduling tool with a considerate booking page and team links on its $10 plan. It lists no SSO, text reminders, routing forms or certifications of its own, which is why it scores lowest here on our indicators.
